Probably my favorite app! All my notes display on my iPhone, iPad, and PC. I can tag them, add pics, audio, you name it. When I'm in a hurry, I dictate my notes and attach them.

*Diigo

I use it to bookmark my favorite sites. You can highlight and add "sticky notes" to any webpage. It's invaluable when I'm away from my computer and need to remember favorite websites. It also has a social aspect. For example, if I wanted to share my fave math apps, I would simply send a link, and all will display. My Diigo site: http://www.diigo.com/user/mjshields

Dragon Dictation

Another really cool app. Dragon Dictation is an easy-to-use voice recognition app that allows you to speak and instantly see your text or email messages. According to iTunes, it’s up to five times faster than typing on the keyboard. You can also dictate Twitter and Facebook status updates or just send notes and reminders.

Fitness and Calorie Counter
Photo-MyFitnessPal.jpg
*My Fitness Pal

Keep track of daily calories, workouts, water, etc.I use it often to determine how many calories are in a restaurant meal. It has a HUGE database of just about anything you could eat at a specific restaurant (or at home). For example, I was at Cheesecake Factory, and just out of curiosity, I looked up their white chocolate cheesecake. It was over 1200 calories! Um...no thanks (especially after I had just eaten a 1300 calorie meal). I also enjoy the social aspect. I can keep up with my friends' fitness, which we use to encourage each other.

krispy_kreme_hot_light_mobile_app.jpg
Krispy Kreme App

My most important app, hands' down (I know it totally contradicts my Fitness app). With the Krispy Kreme app, you get alerts (and directions) to the nearest Krispy Kreme when they turn on their "HOT NOW Light." We don't have Krispy Kremes in my town, so it's a real treat to get them while traveling, and no better time to get them than when they are FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN! Case in point: Last week, my daughters and I were traveling home from Tennessee. As I'm barreling down the Interstate, I received numerous alerts that the "hot light" was on at local Krispy Kremes. How cool is that?
